Job Summary

  • The Buyer position is responsible for managing all aspects of materials flow and maintaining control and accuracy over all materials, including all transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, physical inventories, cycle counts, stocking levels and cost to ensure that Graver’s inventory assets are protected at our Newark, NJ, manufacturing site.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, create Purchase orders for recurring outside services, and expedite orders with vendors who are failing to deliver as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of experience in shipping, procurement and Inventory systems implementation and management
  • Three (3) years in a medium-size manufacturing environment
  • 4-year degree preferred
