Job Summary

  • The Workers’ Compensation Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of all Summit Health Workers’ Compensation appointments, in addition to the coordination of referrals.
  • Duties include obtaining initial authorizations to treat, verifying pre-visit intake information, and obtaining pre-authorizations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with Patient Scheduling preferred
  • Experience working in a Call Center preferred
  • Experience managing Workers’ Compensation
  • Experience working with payer contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), CRM (Salesforce), Outpatient scheduling system (Athena, Epic, Referwell)
