Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing leadership and the Director of Nursing Services.
  • You will accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications, follow facility policies regarding medication handling, and report any errors or adverse reactions promptly.
  • This role involves maintaining friendly and productive relationships with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and participating in facility committees and government inspections to improve medication processes.
