Job Summary
Provide overall supervision of the Cancer Registry, including direction, priorities, productivity, appraisal, and counseling of staff.
Manage and analyze clinical cancer information for research, quality management, patient outcomes, and national accreditation standards.
Responsible for staff preparation of abstracts, follow-up cases, accessioning, and submitting accurate data to the CA State Cancer Registry and the National Cancer database.

Key Requirements
Two years' experience as Certified Oncology Data Specialist
Experience with Oncology and RCRS preferred
Previous healthcare management or supervisor experience strongly preferred
Associate degree in Cancer Registry Management highly preferred or in progress
Coursework in human anatomy, human physiology, and medical terminology
Credentialed Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) or eligible for ODS-C exam
