Job Summary
The position functions as a Medical Assistant in the department, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, preparing charts, obtaining reports and records; assisting with patient flow and ensuring the overall smooth running of the clinical office.
Primary duties include interacting directly with patients, completing clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, conducting EKGs, phlebotomy, and verifying medications, as well as preparing for office hours and assisting with examinations and procedures.
