Job Summary

  • The Diagnostic Laboratory Technician I performs routine diagnostic procedures and assays, including fecal sample aliquoting, DNA extraction, IFA, and qPCR testing to evaluate gastrointestinal functionality in veterinary patients and provides technical support for research projects.
  • Reports qPCR and IFA service results in the GILAB database with high accuracy on a daily basis to ensure the timely release of results and meet laboratory turnaround time goals.
