As a member of the Astemo xEV Drive Unit Design Engineering team, the primary responsibility is to design, plan, and coordinate multiple processes of product development used in automotive xEV e-Axle.
The role involves participating with global Drive Unit Design Engineering organizations in original design, design change management, validation, production launch, and troubleshooting of xEV e-Axles.

3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation
Fluent English communication skills
Problem-solving and initiative
Failure mode analysis and troubleshooting
Technical data documentation and communication
Support for manufacturing and production launch
Occasional domestic and international travel
Nice-to-have
Experience with DFMEA or DRBFM
Automotive industry practical experience
Experience with structural, thermal or magnetic FEA
Second language proficiency such as Japanese
Experience in design change implementation
Experience with e-Axle development programs
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel up to 20% internationally and domestically
