Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Nursing Department by performing a variety of essential support functions for residents and staff.
Employees are responsible for maintaining orderly and clean resident rooms, common areas, and equipment while ensuring strict adherence to safety and hygiene policies.
Staff must promptly report all changes in resident condition, accidents, or safety violations to the Nurse Supervisor and maintain confidentiality of all care information.

Must-have
Report accidents and incidents to charge nurse
Maintain clean resident rooms and common areas
Transport residents to meals and activities
Follow bloodborne pathogens and OSHA policies
Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards
Pass snacks and trays without feeding residents
Monitor room temperature and ventilation conditions
Nice-to-have
Create atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis
Treat residents with dignity and respect
Cooperate with inter-departmental personnel
Assist with secretarial tasks like filing
Participate in scheduled training programs
Key Requirements
Minimum 8th grade education
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures
Willingness to attend OSHA and CDC in-service training
