Job Summary

• The Engineering Assistant will support the maintenance and engineering team in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Power Plant through preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and accurate record-keeping in accordance with compliance policies and safety standards.
• Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and auxiliary plant equipment, supporting troubleshooting and repair of turbines, generators, pumps, boilers, compressors, and hydraulic systems.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety and environmental procedures, always use personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety drills, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
