The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Social Emotional Learning Consultant to develop and implement a KG2 training package in collaboration with the Ministry of Education in Jordan. The role involves creating training materials, conducting a Training of Trainers (ToT), and refining the curriculum based on feedback, requiring significant experience in educational training and collaboration with government stakeholders

Job Summary

  • The consultant will support IRC Jordan and the Ministry of Education (MoE) in the development, piloting, and refinement of a national KG2 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) training package aligned with national standards and the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) framework.
  • Key Responsibilities include leading the development of a comprehensive, culturally relevant KG2 SEL Training Manual for teachers, developing a detailed Trainer’s Guide and Trainee Manual for MoE supervisors, and designing and integrating pre- and post-training assessment tools.
  • The IRC responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
