The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for its Oncology department to provide clinical psychosocial services and case management for cancer patients and their families. The position involves direct patient interaction, treatment planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, with a strong emphasis on providing emotional and social support

Job Summary

  • The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) provides clinical psychosocial services and case management for the WPRCI patients and families in our outpatient clinical areas.
  • Serves within multidisciplinary team to provide clinical psychosocial services for patients in the UAMS Cancer Service Line to include: initial psychosocial assessment with new patients; ongoing psychosocial assessment as needed during treatment process and beyond.
