MBDA is seeking a Dragonfire Physical Domain Verification and Validation Lead to coordinate the physical functionality and performance of Laser Directed Energy Weapon (LDEW) systems. The ideal candidate will possess systems engineering knowledge and experience in hardware design, with a focus on compliance and certification processes

Job Summary

  • The role of the verification and validation lead for the physical domain is to co-ordinate the overall physical functionality, performance and constraints of the DragonFire system with the weapons system team in order to ensure the consistency of the weapon system product with system requirements and project commitments.
  • This includes understanding, communicating and certifying all aspects of the DragonFire Physical Design for all system components, including Environmental & EMC performance, Power utilisation, and Storage & Transportability.
