Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • US Citizen
  • Current North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Certification or equivalency
  • Successfully complete SBI Special Agent Academy
  • Successfully complete SBI Field Training Program
  • Pass comprehensive background investigation
  • Pass pre-employment polygraph examination
