The Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) oversees the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, including direct and indirect services to inpatient and outpatient populations.
This role involves supervising all Rehabilitation personnel, interviewing, hiring, firing, and training staff, as well as implementing new programs to meet clinical and operational needs.
The DOR is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of services, adherence to regulatory standards, timely and accurate clinical documentation, and managing department productivity.
