Job Summary

  • Your contribution as a Purchasing Manager - Head of Project Purchasing will ensure external material costs are optimal to enable MAHLE’s competitiveness in the market.
  • This role is responsible for the definition, achievement, and reporting of Project Purchasing KPIs, as well as mentoring and coaching project buyers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the PDP process and methods are followed, including supplier panel alignment, RFQ process, quotation analysis, and APQP/PPAP.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor's degree in business
  • 7+ years' experience in purchasing, quality, or manufacturing
  • Knowledge of quality and purchasing fundamentals
  • Understanding of mechanical refrigeration systems, automotive heating and air conditioning, and engine cooling
  • Understanding of quality and statistical process control techniques
  • Understanding of basic manufacturing processes
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with high accountability and stress
