Key Requirements

  • Previous industry sales experience
  • University Degree or equivalent industry education
  • Knowledge of personal and corporate taxation and financial planning
  • Attained or working on CLU, CFP, and CH.F.C. designations
  • Knowledge of regulatory issues impacting life insurance sales
  • Expert knowledge of Manulife individual insurance products
  • Strong knowledge of marketing concepts and product applications
  • Strong knowledge of competitive positioning
  • Facilitation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and strong self-management skills
  • Ability to develop, organize and deliver proposals, business cases, and estate analysis
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • 10+ years industry experience (preferred)
  • Proven ability to build strong advisor relationships (preferred)
