Job Summary
The Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services to support manufacturing operations, involving planning purchases, resolving part shortages, negotiating vendor contracts, and driving cost and vendor reductions.
Manage suppliers in all aspects of Supply Chain including quality, on time delivery, scheduling, inventory management, and contract negotiation, while measuring and managing vendor and supplier cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong communication skills, and familiarity with kanban systems and commodity agreements, with a Bachelor's degree preferred and a minimum of 7-10 years of sourcing experience.
