Job Summary

  • Performs packaging, wrapping, and all sterilization functions including Steam, ETO, and STERRAD, validating each cycle with biological, chemical, and mechanical indicators.
  • Responsible for inventory, storage, and distribution functions, including receiving supplies, maintaining stock rotation, and accurately sorting and bagging sterilized items for departments.
  • Assembles case carts for various departments according to preference cards, ensuring missing supplies and/or instruments are noted and instruments are scanned to the case cart.
