Job Summary

  • The role will be instrumental in the pre-project planning and logistics phases, where development of the initial execution strategies aimed at improving efficiency, reducing costs, and meeting schedule targets, all while ensuring a high standard of EHS is the benchmark for work performed.
  • This role will align with GE Vernova and Hydro-Québec stakeholders to draft and secure approval for necessary safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) standards for the execution of work common to all sites.
  • Throughout project execution, the C&C Oversight Leader will play a key role in supporting, training, mentoring, and integrating core site team members such as the Project Manager Construction and Commissioning (PMCC) and Site Manager (SM) assigned to the projects.

Key Requirements

  • 10 years of experience or University Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience on Hydroelectric power plant sites
  • Experience in managing contract deliverables
  • Excellent spoken and written French and English
  • Holder of a valid driver’s license for Quebec
