Job Summary

  • The Infection Prevention Nurse (LVN) is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate regulations.
  • This role ensures compliance with CDC, OSHA, and public health requirements while supporting resident safety, employee health, and quality outcomes in the skilled nursing environment.
  • Responsibilities include administrative functions, surveillance, reporting, investigation, committee participation, personnel and employee health, nursing care, staff development, and care plan assistance.
