Under the direction of the Nursing Coordinator, or designate, is responsible for the care of residents in keeping with the philosophy and policies of Extendicare and carrying out nursing, resident care, and administrative duties in the Nursing Department as directed.
Utilizing a primary model of care the LPN will provide resident care which includes assessing developing care plans; monitoring; measuring outcomes, reporting; updating professional competence; participating in client focused teams with other healthcare providers.

Key Requirements
Currently licensed with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
1 year in a Long Term Care setting
1 year clinical, supervisory experience
SWAT certification obtained from WRHA/equivalent or to be obtained with employment
