Job Summary

  • This role provides escalated support for the Global Service Desk, performs routine administrative tasks, and helps maintain the stability and performance of our cloud-based Virtual Desktop systems.
  • Assist in the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of VDI host pools, session hosts, application groups, and workspaces.
  • Contribute to updating and maintaining Golden Images by applying patches, installing applications, and preparing images under L3/L4 guidance.

Must-have

  • VDI access, performance, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) support
  • VMware VDI on Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, basic networking
  • Azure Portal and VMware Horizon Dashboard
  • Troubleshooting cloud-hosted systems

Nice-to-have

  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical users
  • Process-driven environment collaboration
  • Proactive monitoring and issue identification

Key Requirements

  • L2 VDI Support Specialist experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Basic understanding of VMware VDI on Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or Azure CLI for simple commands
  • AZ-900, MD-102, or AZ-104 certifications beneficial
  • AZ-140 certification is a plus
