Job Summary
The mission of the NC Department of Transportation is to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
The primary purpose of this position is the summarization of the project scope and receivable terms of each municipal, private, and public/private agreement through the Cash Management Plan as presented by the Office of the State Controller.
The Accountant II is also charged with maximizing receivable potential through agreement analysis, enhanced means of obtaining data for billable costs, accurate and timely funding, budgeting, and billing functions and revenue collections.
