Job Summary
The Project Director will lead a global health security initiative aimed at strengthening public health surveillance systems and capacities.
This role will involve strategic and technical oversight of activities that enhance national and regional surveillance infrastructure, build workforce capacity through training, and improve coordination between disease surveillance and laboratory systems.
Working closely with ministries of health, US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) country offices, and key stakeholders, the PD will assess existing systems, identify gaps, and implement solutions to improve performance.
