The Patient Reception Specialist is responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience to build and reinforce satisfaction, trust, and drive organizational loyalty.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Patient check-in and appointment scheduling
Insurance and demographic validation
Use of practice EMR systems
Collect patient co-payments and balances
Communicate schedule delays professionally
Nice-to-have
Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices
Competent in basic arithmetic calculations
Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding
Professional and welcoming patient interaction
Maintain clean and organized reception areas
Key Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Current BLS certification preferred
Experience in primary care or urgent care preferred
