Job Summary

• The Health Care Aide provides personal care and performs selected tasks, which are within their knowledge and skill, under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and Extendicare's standards, policies and procedures.
• Key responsibilities include adhering to the plan of care, facilitating resident moves, observing and reporting on resident conditions, assisting with personal care and daily living activities, and providing cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support.

• Graduate of Health Care Aide program
• Experience working with seniors

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
• Ability to perform tasks necessary for the position
