The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing supervisors.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, as well as observing and verifying medication ingestion or application.
The role requires participation in quality assurance programs and continuing education to maintain certification and stay abreast of changes in the profession.
