Base: $26.00 – $33.33 per hour for licensed technicians; $23.00 – $26.67 per hour for candidates awaiting exam; Benefits: Well-Funded General Employees Retirement Plan

Must-have

Document medical findings in computer systems
Handle aggressive dogs and feral cats safely

Shelter and high volume spay/neuter experience
Positive reinforcement animal handling techniques
Knowledge of zoonotic disease prevention

Key Requirements
Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from accredited school
Current RVT, LVT, or CVT credential with CACVT/DORA registration
Valid Colorado Drivers License with good driving record
Euthanasia Certification obtained within 3 months of hire
At least 2 years experience in surgery and animal handling
