  • The UAMS Transition to Practice- RN New Graduate Residency Program is designed with a specialized and focused platform to include lectures, simulation, case studies, online modules, etc., and clinical experience with designated preceptors.
  • New Graduate RN Residents must complete 1 year of experience and meet the Transition to Practice program requirements to be considered RN I.
  • The New Graduate RN Resident will provide direct patient care in one of the following specialty areas: Acute Care, Critical Care Division, NICU, Labor & Delivery, Perinatal, Oncology, Surgical Services, Emergency Department, Psychiatric Research Institute, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital (TOSH) - Surgical Services.
