Job Summary
This job is responsible for providing daily coordination of all functions necessary for efficient operation of clinical perfusion department including ensuring clinical competency of staff, quality assurance reporting mechanisms, coordinating and implementing policies and procedures, and providing support to meet department objectives and goals and patient care standards.
Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and self productivity.
Maintain certification and proficiency as a clinical perfusionist by providing daily perfusion services as outlined in the Perfusionist role.
