Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Current Texas Pharmacy Tech registration
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Sterile products certification if compounding
  • 1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Nice-to-have

  • ACPE I.V Certification with 40-hour course
  • Ability to serve as preceptor or mentor
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care
  • Experience with automated drug dispensing systems

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: 1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience
