Job Summary
This position functions to assist the licensed pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to patients, as well as providing necessary services and information to nursing and medical staff.
The Pharmacy Senior Technician is responsible for preparation and packaging of moderate, complex medications, distribution of advanced medications, supplies and equipment, maintaining proper inventory levels, and ensuring medications are in date and secure.
Pharmacy Technician III assists pharmacists, technician IV’s, and technician team managers with productivity management, training, orientation of new staff, special projects, and committee meetings.
