The NC Office of the Commissioner of Banks is seeking an entry-level Mortgage Licensing Support Specialist to assist with the processing of mortgage applications and complaints while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the financial services industry, administrative skills, and the ability to interpret relevant laws and regulations

Job Summary

  • This position will use applicable state and federal laws, applicable provisions of the North Carolina Administrative Code, and internal policies and procedures in the processing of applications and consumer complaints for regulated entities while providing excellent customer service to applicants and others.
  • Work involves processing of all applications and renewals as required per the NC SAFE act; including receipt and review of required documentation from licensees by established timelines.
  • Accurately updating, uploading required documents, and maintaining the Nationwide Multi-state Licensing System (NMLS) and internal systems by established timelines.
