Job Summary

  • Assists the Occupational Therapist with patient-related activities and provides direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, treatment plans, and applicable regulations.
  • Implement treatment plans according to physician orders, record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and recertification documentation per OT Board, facility policy, and payer requirements.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and discharge planning, and participate in discharge planning and transition of care.
