Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO)
  • Unarmed Guard License for North Carolina
  • Stop the Bleed Certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) or CCW license
  • Conducted Energy Weapon certification
  • High school graduate or GED
  • 4 years security or related experience
  • Completion of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
  • Annual handgun qualification
  • Background and drug screening
