Job Summary
Evaluate patients within twenty four hours of physician referral and develop effective treatment plans approved by the referring physician.
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and participate in interdisciplinary meetings such as Patient Care Conferences and Utilization Review meetings.
Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services.
