Job Summary
Competently interpret the patient's history and baseline level of function and then to complete an assessment appropriate to the patient's area(s) of deficits.
Based on problem(s) identified, the physical therapist establishes and carries out a plan of care to include patient treatment and reassessment, patient/family instruction, discharge planning, documentation in the medical record and providers and other medical staff.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
