This role exercises independent judgment and decision‑making authority in managing a bi‑weekly payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring compliance with UMD policies and procedures and various federal and state laws, resolving issues, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining data integrity.
The Program Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end administration and continuous improvement of payroll, appointment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for faculty, staff, and graduate assistants.
