Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
  • Assist in interviewing CNAs when requested and create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to read technical procedures

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
