Job Summary
The ABIS provides clinical support relating to habilitative, behavioral and psychiatric needs of persons supported by the team under the direction and supervision of the Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS).
Provides leadership to the team on shift, directing and assisting direct care staff in the absence of a Program Supervisor and/or Assistant Supervisor.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field OR formal training and 2 years experience OR 4 years experience as DSP
6 months experience with I/DD or complex needs
Working knowledge of behavioral/psychiatric conditions
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead, direct, and teach others
SCIP-R, CPR, and AMAP certifications (or ability to obtain)
Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds
