Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing supervisors and in accordance with established standards and facility policies.
Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, noting and reporting errors, and maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other healthcare professionals.
The role requires adherence to facility procedures for medication handling, destruction, labeling, and charting, as well as participating in quality assurance and continuing education programs.
