This position is assigned to the N.C. Birth Defects Monitoring Program (BDMP), a statewide public health surveillance system that collects, tracks, analyzes, and disseminates data on infants born with congenital malformations in N.C.
The employee will be expected to travel to assigned hospitals for data collection purposes as needed, and while this is a fully remote position, there will be occasional instances where travel to the DHHS Headquarters in Raleigh for meetings is required.
