Job Summary

  • The incumbent of the position has the responsibility of ensuring the effective estimation of costs, selection, negotiation and management of suppliers and subcontractors to meet program requirements in line with CAE’s commercial practices while mitigating CAE’s risk.
  • Work closely with procurement team to develop and implement improvement opportunities in support of organizational goals & strategies.

Key Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • University degree in Engineering, Legal or Business Administration
  • Experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, Proposal Solutions Management or Contracts Management
  • Strong experience in international purchasing practices, contracts and dispute resolution
  • Strong technical background with experience in Software
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills (english and french)
  • Knowledge of standard procurement tools (ERP system)
