Northern Trust is seeking a Risk & Control Manager - Specialist for its Asset Management division, responsible for overseeing risk event management and advising on non-financial risks. Job Summary
Based in the First Line of Defense (1LoD), you will be responsible for oversight, reporting and execution of the Risk Event management framework, and assisting control owners within the Asset Management business unit with developing and maintaining a sustainable control framework.
Perform independent loss event investigations and lessons learnt analysis, document findings in accordance with operational risk management standards.
Leverage stakeholder management skills to facilitate the resolution of complex, operational errors leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
