Job Summary
Operate, adjust, and inspect all buildings HVAC, refrigeration systems and auxiliary equipment and components to detect hazards, malfunctions, the need for adjustment and/or replacement.
Repair or replace all buildings’ faulty HVAC, refrigeration equipment, motors, controls, valves, towers, dampers, regulators, gaskets, flanges, seals, pumps, draft fans and compressors, including related systems such as chilled water or condenser water loops.
Provide assistance to other department trade group members as needed in the completion of work tasks; provide appropriate support in major campus events such as commencement and opening of school; participate in snow removal activities to maintain campus operations.
