KBR is seeking a Physical Access Control Systems Lead for their operations in Basra, Iraq, who will oversee security personnel and ensure compliance with safety and security protocols in the oil and gas sector. The role requires extensive experience in security management, military, or law enforcement background, and offers a rotation schedule of 28 days on and 28 days off

Job Summary

  • Responsible for ensuring the Majnoon Field security plan is implemented and the day-to-day management, leadership and mentorship of BOC (Security) personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing the ECP1 Security Plan and SOPs and operational control of Entry Control Point and Yabani Bridge.
  • Responsible for identifying competency gaps and implementing a closure plan for BOC Security personnel and managing the delivery of resources required to support BOC(s).

Key Requirements

  • High school degree supported by tertiary certificate, diploma or degree
  • Previous Military/Law Enforcement experience
  • Minimum of five years’ management in commercial security
  • Two years’ experience in Hostile Environment
  • Relevant job experience within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Advanced English – (verbal & written)
