** Unum Group is seeking an AVP & Counsel who will serve as a legal advisor across various functional areas, focusing on drafting and negotiating customer contracts. Job Summary

  • Incumbent will be a highly experienced legal advisor to a variety of functional organizations relating to any area of specialty such as investments and treasury (private placements, bonds, municipal securities, etc), litigation, product development, national accounts, claims, underwriting, sales, customer service, distribution, information technology, corporate and marketing initiatives, etc. for all product lines offered by all domestic (U.S.) companies.
  • This role is primarily focused on supporting the business through the drafting, negotiation, and management of customer contracts.
