Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for onsite operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment on a wind powered generation plant and leads in all areas of plant operations as directed by the Plant Manager.
  • The role requires climbing towers daily, working with electrical and mechanical systems, and performing preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM manuals.
  • Candidates must be willing to work overtime, participate in an on-call schedule, and travel up to 15% to other sites.

  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

Key Requirements

  • One year college or technical school certificate or equivalent experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift frequently up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Weight must not exceed 285 pounds excluding equipment
  • Related experience or wind industry training
  • Compliance with medical exam, background check, drug screen, and legal work verification
