  • The primary purpose of the Literacy Facilitator position is to provide statewide Lexia Voyager Sopris Learning Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) professional development aligned to the Read to Achieve Act.
  • This position will serve as the communication link between NCDPI Office of Early Learning Regional Consultants to increase aligned educator professional knowledge with the intent to establish a cohesive, sustainable Science of Reading implementation model across NC.
  • The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is charged with implementing the state's public school laws for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public schools at the direction of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Board of Education.
