Job Summary

  • The role of the Research Medical Director (RMD) for the Oncology Center of Excellence (COE) is to assist Ochsner Health in delivering on the Research strategic imperatives of growth, innovation, and dissemination of research findings.
  • Responsibilities include providing oversight of research conducted within the Oncology COE, representing Ochsner Cancer Institute Research, and collaboratively developing and executing a strategy to enable participation in NCI Designated Cancer Centers.
  • The RMD will partner with a Director of Clinical Research to support effective relationships, provide mentorship, and lead feasibility review processes for clinical research studies.
